Through every season of life there is only one constant: our great and unchanging God! We want everyone we come in contact with to know the riches of His glory and the abundance of His grace through our Lord Jesus Christ! What does that mean? Come and find out as we go through His Word together!

The Core of Student Ministries at FBC is...

Family. The God-ordained institution to raise children up in the ways of the Lord is not the youth ministry, but rather the parents. But if this is the case, then what are we in the youth ministry to do? Assist the parents. We are not here to replace or subvert the ministry that God has called fathers and mothers to have, instead we are here to supplement them. This means that what we do may look a little different than other ministries to teenagers.

   

    One of the main ways we help parents is by preaching God’s Word. We not only want to teach scriptural principles and ideas, but we want to teach the scriptures themselves. We strongly encourage our families to read, meditate, and memorize God’s Word together and individually, knowing that His Word, by His Spirit is the only thing that creates and causes life change.

    At the center of all we do is God and His glory. Like rays from the sun, we want everything we do to be an expression of His radiance and draw all attention, all notice, all worship back to our Lord Jesus. This is the goal of all of life (and every family, and every ministry) - to make much of God.
